Project Overview
Designed menus and environmental graphics for Foothills Butcher Bar, a restaurant and butcher shop located in Asheville, NC. The objective was to create a visual system that supports menu navigation while reinforcing the brand’s rustic, approachable identity within the dining environment.

Developed menu layouts and supporting environmental graphics while applying brand standards across printed menus, wall graphics, and in-store signage to ensure a consistent visual experience throughout the space.
Design Approach
The visual system combines handcrafted illustration with structured layouts to reflect the restaurant’s artisanal identity. Custom illustrations and icons were developed to highlight key menu sections and reinforce the butcher shop concept. Menus were organized with a clear typographic hierarchy to support quick decision-making in a busy restaurant setting. Environmental graphics carry the brand into the interior space, creating a cohesive visual experience between printed materials and the surrounding environment.
The completed design system improves menu clarity, strengthening the restaurant’s brand presence within the space. Integrated graphics and menus support efficient ordering while reinforcing the upscale and distinct brand identity of the Foothills Butcher Bar.
